Fledgling Defined
- a young, new, inexperienced, or untried person
- Synonyms: novice, beginner, freshman
- Word Origin and History: 1830 (adj.), 1846 as a noun meaning "young bird," from fledge + diminutive suffix -ling. Of persons, from 1856.
We believe teens and young adults can be educated and talented, but most often lack the knowledge and wisdom gained through years of life experiences. There is also the new convert who may not be familiar with Scripture and Christianity. Here we want to make information available to help them (and us) avoid the pitfalls many of us have found ourselves in over the years. May we all strive to be wise servants of God.
